Terms of Service

Welcome to QuickQuoteMaker. These terms govern your use of the site, the design studio, collections, the forum, the gallery and the API. By using the service you accept them.

1. Access to the service

  • Most of the site works without an account. Some features (saving, collections, favourites, exports, forum, API) require registration.
  • The service is intended for people aged 16 or over.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your profile. This removes the associated data and cannot be undone.

2. Your content

  • You keep ownership of what you create. QuickQuoteMaker claims no ownership over the visuals, collections and videos you produce.
  • You may use your exports freely, including commercially, subject to the rights attached to any material you include (see section 4).
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence solely to host, display and process your content so the service can work.
  • Anything you post to the gallery, the forum or testimonials becomes publicly visible, and you allow us to display it on the site.
  • You confirm you hold the rights to any file you upload.

3. Quotes

Quotes are provided for information and attributed to their authors to the best of our knowledge. Despite our checks, an attribution may be inaccurate or disputed — please verify a quote before any public or commercial use. Some quotes remain protected by copyright in certain countries.

4. Third-party images, videos and fonts

  • The built-in image libraries (Pexels, Unsplash, Pixabay) provide media under their own licences, which you must respect.
  • The video editor can preview a YouTube video; that use is subject to YouTube's terms. Trimming and export apply only to files you upload and own the rights to.
  • Fonts are offered under their respective licences, generally free to use.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • post unlawful, hateful, defamatory, violent or pornographic content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
  • bypass technical limits, quotas or security measures, or automate requests beyond the documented limits;
  • scrape the site at scale or rebuild our quote database;
  • disrupt the service, test its security without written permission, or impersonate anyone;
  • use the forum or gallery for spam or unsolicited advertising.

6. Moderation

Gallery submissions, forum posts and testimonials may be moderated. We may refuse, edit or remove content and suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — without notice in cases of serious abuse.

7. API and access keys

  • Your API keys are personal and strictly confidential.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your keys; revoke them immediately if they are exposed.
  • Rate limits apply. We may adjust them or revoke a key in case of abusive or disproportionate use.

8. Beta features

Features marked "beta", including the video editor, are experimental. They may be unstable, change or be withdrawn without notice, and should not be relied on for critical work without keeping your own backup.

9. Advertising

The service is funded by advertising. We do not control the content of ads served by our partners or the sites they link to.

10. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service, in particular for technical or maintenance reasons.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data, content or revenue arising from use of the service. Please keep your own copy of important creations. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The last modified date is shown at the top of this page, and continued use of the service means you accept the current version.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the site's publisher is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules. For any question, contact us through the form.
